Hypothesis is a series of digital drawings on paper. The works contemplate the systems that shape the world, our search for knowledge and scientific explanation, and yet how limited our understanding ultimately is. Since time immemorial, the origin of existence has inspired countless speculations, with religions offering different creation narratives. The idea that is dominant today is the Big Bang Theory. The theory is based on the scientific fact that the universe is constantly expanding, which indicates that it began in an infinitely dense dot which at some point started to expand. But we neither know what started this first motion nor when or if it will ever stop. Today there is even suspicion that the Big Bang is not necessarily a single event but a recirculation of events where the universe expands and collapses repeatedly to infinity.
