Lives and works in Iceland

Ingunn Fjóla Ingþórsdóttir (b. 1976) graduated with a MA degree in Fine Art from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2017 and a BA degree in Fine Art from the same institution in 2007. She also holds a BA degree in Art History from the University of Aarhus, received in 2002. Ingunn works mainly in painting, weaving and installation. Ingunn´s work has been exhibited widely in galleries and museums in Iceland, including Reykjavík Art Museum, The National Gallery of Iceland and Hafnarborg, the Hafnarfjörður Centre of Culture and Fine Art. Ingunn has participated in several group exhibitions internationally including the Prague Biennale 5, Cluj Museum, Rumenia and Kunstverein Springhornhof, Germany. Recent solo exhibitions include The Only Constant is Change at the National Gallery of Iceland and You are the Input which was first shown at Galerie Herold, Bremen 2019 and at LÁ Art Museum, Hveragerði in 2022.
